D This is what winter in an epic forestland sounds like. I love every bit of this entire EP. The atmosphere is unmatched, and honestly, one of the most beautiful releases I've ever heard. Favorite track: Dawn Treader.

Twistoculus An incredibly powerful EP right here. Bitterly cold, somber, & thoroughly imbued with the ethereal majesty of the northern forests. Favorite track: Hang My Remains From The Crescent Moon.

DeafestChase Top notch atmospheric black metal filled with emotive melodies, intriguing song structure, and executed perfectly. A triumph for Canadian Black Metal. This EP totally brings me back to the mists, rains, and gorgeous mountains of British Columbia.

Life evades while pain cascades, like a river carving valleys into broken flesh. We will vanish as dawn breaks, We will perish as dawn breaks. The moon descends as we await abyss and the approach of cold emptiness. Misery and damage done will be erased by the rising sun. The horizon bled a golden death, goodbye to no one; Hark, our time has come.

The timeless funeral veil is ever unbroken as it shimmers above us, pure and endless. Dense silence and reflected light, all is still amongst this Canadian night. The looming glow, the darkness hewn; Oh spectral skies, Hang my remains from the crescent moon. The cold lingers on the fringes of my mind like pale fog. Anxious urgency holds its grip like talons of stone. Reality, invading my thought and sleep rends a weeping gorge between. Under pale light, my ashes strewn; Oh spectral skies, Hang my remains from the crescent moon.
4.
This grand symbol of a reaching, divine hand, clasping at the white mountainside, becomes a pinewood tomb. A steepled casket closed on icebound souls. This worldly root of arcane thought rendered null. From refuge to buried ruin.
